Microfiber Madness Waverider Jr.

Highly Absorbent Waffle-Weave Drying Towel

In the past, drying towels have been made of very thin fabric which was soaked quickly with water. Microfiber Madness created the Waverider towels with the thickest and heaviest waffle weave to capture all the water from the vehicle's surface. Other drying towel products have yet to compete with the Waverider's massively absorbent 530 gsm microfiber.

Waffle weave towels give an advantage especially on cars that were not perfectly maintained. In cases where the paint has a rougher surface, drying towels with long and dense fibers can stick to the surface and leave lint on the paint.

In spite of the thickness, the Waverider Jr. is still easy to use and dries surfaces perfectly. The edge seaming of towel is made of soft microfiber, it glides around corners easily and will not scratch the paint.

Towels are shipped in individually sealed bags to prevent contamination.

How to Wash and Maintain Microfiber Towels

  • Microfiber towels should only be washed with other microfiber towels. If you wash with other types of fabrics like cotton, etc, the microfiber will retain lint from those fabrics.
  • Wash with a microfiber detergent which contains everything you want and nothing you do not. Never use fabric softeners or dryer sheets.
  • Wash in warm or hot water.
  • Dry on low or no heat. A microfiber that is heated to a certain point will melt, and the solid melted plastic will likely scratch paint.
  • Rinsing your new towels in the washer is always a good habit but also be aware that some colors may bleed onto others if you mix colors during that first wash cycle.
  • After use microfiber should be stored, washed, and kept separate according to their task. In other words you would never use a wheel towel and then mix it with your paint towel. Interior or doorjamb towels will collect sand and abrasive particles you would never want in towels used for buffing paint. Keep them separate.
  • Mixing wax and sealant towels with glass and drying towels are a good way to remove absorbency from or cause streaking with your drying towels.
